Illinois basketball opened the season with a convincing 87-57 win over Eastern Illinois on Monday night. Craig Choate and Logan Lee recap the win in the first Illini Postgame Show of the season from No One Asked Us.
It was somewhat of a close game for about the first half of the first half, then Illinois (1-0) went on a 19-6 run to make it a 34-20 game with five minutes left in the first half and the Illini never looked back.
Terrence Shannon Jr. lead the way for Illinois, with Coleman Hawkins and Dain Dainja also playing key roles.
Illinois is back in action on Friday night at 9:00 ET when they host Kansas City.
