For those who want to get out of town for July 4 festivities but don’t want to go far, Batavia is also hosting a day-of Independence Day celebration. From 5-9:30 p.m. at Engstrom Park, 326 Millview Drive, visitors can “savor the flavor” from various food vendors. Then from 8:30-9:15 p.m., Batavia Community Band will put on a concert, ahead of the Sky Concert that will kick off at dusk.
