Last of Low Cost Gasoline 87 Octane $4.05 in Upper Central Illinois Average Now $4.40 per gallon

I filled up my 1987 Corvette Convertible tonight.
it likes 93 octane best but will run on 87 octane just fine with reduced power WOT.

Its the Best Fuel Economy Vehicle I own even though it’s a 350 cubic inch Tuned Port Fuel Injection Chevy V8 Performance engine and the Car is still Fast today. I can Street Race and still Win 99% of the time.
It gets 28-32 MPG at 70 mph cruising depending upon the weather.
Earlier today I was getting 30 mpg at 90 mph cruising on the Highways looking at the Digital dash Instant and Average Fuel Economy Readouts.
The car is light at 3220 lbs .
Very Aredynamic with its Steep Raked Windshield and Wedge shaped front end Borrowed from the British Lotus ‘Elite Espirit.

I am driving daily again my 1987 Corvette Convertible all of 2022.
They are calling for up $10 per gallon 87 octane Gasoline soon.
Most of the USA Will Shutdown.
