CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois women’s gymnastics Ruthuja Nataraj will compete in the XXII Commonwealth Games set for July 28-Aug. 8 in Birmingham, England.
The gymnastics competition is set to begin July 28 and will conclude on August 2. Nataraj is set to compete for Team India in her first Commonwealth Games.
The Games have taken place every four years since 1930 with athletes from 72 nations competing in 19 sports over 11 days.
