No New Evidence After Saturday’s Search For Frankfort Square Man

FRAKNFORT, IL — A search on Nov. 26 for a missing Frankfort Square man did not uncover any new findings or evidence, the Will County Sheriff’s Office told Patch.

The search, which included 52 search and rescue volunteers from 14 different agencies, was held for Luis Padilla, who was reported missing on Nov. 15.

The sheriff’s office said that drones, ground search and off-road vehicles were used in the search.

Padilla, 55, was last seen leaving his home on North Avenue in Frankfort Square in a gray short-sleeved shirt and black pants, with a light blue bicycle, according to police.

The investigation remains open, the sheriff’s office said.

Police are still asking residents of Frankfort Square and surrounding areas to check their home security cameras for Padilla on Nov. 14 between 10 and 11 a.m. You can forward any videos or information to Detective K.
