Trick-or-treating hours in the Village of Tinley Park will be from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31. Remember to stay safe and keep the following tips in mind:
- Please be respectful of your neighbors and adhere to the trick-or-treating hours posted above. These hours allow ample time for trick-or-treating while also ensuring that everyone can get home around sunset before visibility becomes a concern.
- Please make sure that all children travel in groups and never alone.
- Only trick-or-treat in well-lit areas that are familiar.
- Don’t eat any treats until after you’ve returned home.
- Please refrain from using any electronic devices while trick-or-treating so you can remain aware of your surroundings.
- Keep your heads up and walk, don’t run, across the street.
Remember to check the Illinois State Police Sex Offender Registry before you hit the streets so you know which homes to avoid. Happy Halloween!
