This web page would help long-range track events, like marathons, that are lower-budgeted to have more accurate results.
The concept is when spectators use their mobile device to select a long-distance athlete’s ID while standing near that race competitor during the event.
The time, user, and location are recorded, providing the athlete with fine-grained, crowd-sourced timing, and a list of supporters and fans who were interested in helping time his/her race performance.
