What’s Available in MD vs. Other States for TNF

The BetMGM bonus codes available in Maryland vs. other states where the sportsbook operates are slightly different.

How ACTIONYARD Works

ACTIONYARD is pretty straightforward.

• Bet $10 on an NFL game. The bet must settle, so don’t cash it out.
• If the team you’re betting throws for 1+ yard, you get $200 in free bets

Easy enough! But how do free bets work?

BetMGM will return your $200 in four, $50 free bets. You can use them on anything — CFB, NFL, World Cup, etc. I like to use free bets on anything plus-money, because that’s what the math says is optimal.

So let’s say I claim my $200 on Bills-Patriots and then start using them this weekend.

I’ll put one $50 free bet on Utah moneyline against USC at +130.

• If Utah wins, I’ll profit $65, but I don’t keep the $50 free bet. Let’s say I lost the initial $10 on the Bills-Pats game, so I’ll now have $65 in cash plus $150 in free bets remaining.
• If Utah loses, the free bet goes away, and I’ll have $150 in free bets remaining.

Your First Bet

Like we covered earlier, you want to use your first bet on a longshot.

Pretend you deposit $200 and bet it all on Hunter Henry to score a touchdown for the Patriots at +350 against the Bills.

• If Henry scores, you’ll profit $700 and keep the original $200. You’ve now got $900 in your account and the promo is effectively over.
• If Henry doesn’t score, you get $200 back in free bets.

Using the Free Bets if Needed

If you lose that first bet, you’ll get free bets back. If Henry doesn’t score, I get $200 back in free bets. They work the same as I described above, but we’ll cover it with another example.

I’ll put $100 worth of free bets on Purdue moneyline against Michigan — price at +550 at BetMGM.

• If Purdue wins, I profit $550, but I don’t keep the $100 free bet.
• If Purdue loses, the free bet goes away, and I’m left with $100 free bets.

That’s why these aren’t truly risk-free bets — you can lose it all if you lose your free bets.
