Woodfield Mall has a long history in Schaumburg IL. After our Stratford mall tour in Bloomingdale Illinois revealed a dead mall in the chicago suburbs, we decided to show a successful Simon mall in schaumburg IL, Woodfield Mall. We walk through Woodfield mall and see every store, including the peppa pig world which replaced the rainforest cafe which had been there since the 90’s. One thing that did not impress us was the parking garage, both for its lack of a working elevator as well as the dorty stairwell. Overall Woodfield mall is thriving in Schaumburg IL while other malls in the Chicago suburbs die out. Long live Woodfield mall, a thriving mall in america in which just about every store is hiring.
