Walking in Evanston Illinois/Chicago suburb in rain at night in early December/Christmas season 2021, I took delight in the serenity of this college town. The rain was light in the beginning of my walking, but became a bit heavy in the end. I did not have an umbrella with me, and my clothes got pretty wet. But I enjoyed this rain walk.
Pedestrians were sporadic, with or without umbrellas. Shops were bright behind the windows. The small town Evanston manifested a serene charm in rain at night in this Christmas season 2021.
