We Day Illinois took place on April 30 at the Allstate Arena, where thousands of students earned their way into the star-studded event that featured actors, singers and performers. Some of the stars that came out to the event included Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Common, Selena Gomez and Martin Sheen.
We Day is connected to the We Act program, a year long educational program that allows students from across the county to help local and global campaigns that provide clean water, food and clothing to communities that lack the resources.
