In January of 2018, I moved to Mexico with my then-boyfriend. We lived in Guadalajara for 4 months making daily vlogs, so we did a LOT in the city. After that, we continued to travel Mexico together until we ended up in Queretaro where unfortunately we broke up. After that, I decided to move back to Guadalajara alone.
Today I’m going to try and find out if my life in 2018 was better than it is now by revisiting some of the things I did back then: authentic Mexican food at Los Chilaquiles, a luxury mall called Plaza Andares, a beautiful urban park named Bosque Los Colomos, and Centro Magno to an “upscale Mexican movie theater.” 😉 All the while, I will compare the 2018 prices to the current cost of living in Mexico in 2022.
By the end I will share my thoughts: was my old life better than it is now? Why or why not?
