Caffeine Free – fundraising movie for the Flora Public Library (Illinois) circa 1990

0

As the old Carnegie Library in Flora, Illinois, had deteriorated to an unusable condition, the community made a fundraising movie to help with construction costs for a new library. In this movie, the town of Flora accepts a challenge to win one million dollars by going “caffeine free” for one week, with the aim of building a new library. While amusing enough on its own, the true value of this movie may be the scenes from the town circa 1990.
