Big Sean is setting the record straight.
The artist—real name Sean Michael Leonard Anderson—responded to rumors that he was seen out with a new girlfriend amid speculation that he and his partner of more than 10 years Jhené Aiko had parted ways.
The rapper reacted to a recent Instagram post which included the headline, “Big Sean spotted with alleged new girlfriend after wasting Jhené Aiko’s time for 10 years,” over a snippet of a recent livestream hosted by 21-year-old YouTuber N3on. In the clip, Big Sean walked into the room and passed by an unidentified woman.
The 37-year-old was quick to respond to the Nov. 6 post, writing in the comment section, “Yeah unfortunately i never met this person in my life lol.”
In a second comment, per People, Big Sean shared more insight into the moment.
“This girl was standing next to @hitboy who is cut out the video,” he added. “I dont know why the f—k she was so close to me though. I didn’t see it at all til i saw this video and can understand the frustrations. Smh. But i dont even know this person at all.”
