$10.2 MILLION FOR NEW AIR NATIONAL GUARD FACILITY COMING TO SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin announces a $10.2 million earmark from the defense budget for a new complex at the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield, Illinois. It will allow the Illinois Air National Guard to demolish seven aging buildings, two which are more than 50 years old. It is a major investment for the central Illinois economy.
