2024 WHM | Women Leaders in Government Amplifying Voices, Driving Change

0

CMS closed our Women’s History Month with a powerful Women’s History Month 2024 Lunch and Learn Panel Discussion!

Our Women Leaders in Government simulcast was a resounding success! We were honored to hear from esteemed panelists First Assistant Deputy Governor for Office of the Governor- Illinois Education Teresa Ramos, Illinois Department of Corrections Director Latoya Hughes,
Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Assistant Director Cameron Joost, and Illinois State Police First Deputy Director Rebecca Hooks, as they shared invaluable insights into the importance of women’s representation in leadership roles.

Our panelists inspired us all by discussing their leadership journeys, addressing challenges, and sharing tools for success. Their experiences showcased the vital role women play in shaping organizational culture, driving recruitment, and enhancing retention efforts.

A big thank you to our moderator, CMS Director Raven DeVaughn, and all attendees who joined us both in person and online. Your engagement made this event truly special!

Let’s continue to celebrate and uplift women leaders, not just during Women’s History Month, but every day. Together, we can amplify voices and drive positive change in our communities and beyond.
