The Adler Planetarium in Chicago, Illinois is the first planetarium in the Western Hemisphere and is located in the Museum Campus alongside Lake Michigan, near the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium and Soldier Field. It was founded in 1930 and is dedicated to astronomy and astrophysics. During our tour, we’ll check out moon exploration, space capsules, astronauts, the solar system and planets, that sweet city skyline, an observatory, and take in a Pink Floyd show, the 50th Anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon. For those who watched our video, since no photos or videos of the dome shows are allowed, the @adlerplanetarium put out a teaser trailer for the show, which we’ll link below. It runs until March 2024 and is incredible!
