Are *You* Ready For The United Airlines & Archer Aviation eVTOL Air Taxi? #shorts
Archer and United Airlines have announced plans to build Chicago’s first air taxi. The four-passenger eVTOL aircraft, dubbed ‘Midnight,’ will fly between O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Vertiport Chicago. Beginning in 2025, the project aims to reduce rush-hour traffic on the ground while also providing a sustainable, low-noise, and secure alternative on the air. Passengers will be able to travel from and to ORD in about 10 minutes using Midnight aircraft. Depending on traffic, the same route by car could take more than an hour.
Vertiport Chicago, located near the Chicago Loop in the Illinois Medical District, is North America’s largest vertical aircraft take-off and landing facility. The location was chosen because of its exceptional convenience, accessibility, and service.
