This is a compilation of work from reporter Megan Sanchez in the area of soft news. The first story was aired in October during Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and tells the story of a student who battled the disease at a young age. For the second story Megan Sanchez traveled to Iowa City, Iowa with videographer Emily Kenney to feature life after graduation of an alumna who turned her talent into a career. The third story was done in conjunction with videographer Ryan Garity. Blue is a dog who has become a celebrity in the town of Macomb, and at the age of 13 got to go home from the shelter.
