Let’s highlight the potential of using anonymous data to enhance medical diagnoses and treatment, exemplified by an algorithm detecting hidden issues in imaging and discuss the importance of government support for initiatives like telemedicine, overcoming barriers of data privacy and distance in healthcare provision. After completing her studies at the Faculty of Engineering in Bozen/Bolzano, Dr. Selena Milanovic majored in biomedical engineering in her Ph.D. at Oxford. She collaborates with the British government as a consultant during pande- mia. Named by “Forbes 30 – Under 30,” she is a member of the World Economic Forum and works for Siemens as a strategy consultant in the healthcare sector.
