“Get Your Chicks on Route 66” is the slogan to this legendary chicken restaurant outside Chicago. It’s had a long history with its association with Route 66, and was able to survive several decades after Interstate 55 nearly threatened its business. The restaurant and its neon sign were added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 5, 2006 (#06000375).
