On Saturday, July 23, 2011 Equality Illinois held an annual event at Sidetrack in East Lakeview, Chicago, IL called Pie Toss. It is a cream filled celebrity pie toss in order to raise visibility in Equality’s mission on securing equal rights for LGBT individuals in Illinois and to bring much needed resources for the legislative work in Springfield and educational work across the state. It was a fulfilled event for all with a lot of money raised for Equality Illinois.
