Greater Chicagoland Economic Partnership Announcement | How Local Governments Can Work Together

President Preckwinkle was joined by Mayor Lori Lightfoot, DuPage County Chairman Deb Conroy and representatives from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), World Business Chicago and Loop Capital to announce the formation of the Greater Chicagoland Economic Partnership. This Economic Partnership is a first-of-its-kind united effort that includes the City of Chicago, Cook County, and six counties across metropolitan Chicago to drive a regional economic strategy and strengthen its economy in an increasingly fierce, competitive global market.
