India LIVE Updates: Kamalpreet Kaur, an Indian discus thrower, has been banned for three years for using a prohibited substance (Stanozolol). The Indian athlete’s ban will take effect on March 29, 2022, according to an Athletics Integrity Unity (AIU) statement. Kaur, 26, rose to prominence after finishing sixth in the Tokyo Olympics and becoming the first Indian woman to break the 65-meter barrier, but she was temporarily suspended after testing positive for Stanozolol, a banned anabolic steroid, in May 2022.
