Joliet Correctional Center, Joliet Illinois

This is the Joliet Correctional Center, in Joliet Illinois closed in 2002 this prison was used in the filming of the movie The Blues Brothers, and the TV show Prison Break, where this prison was called Fox River State Prison. Another movie with great scenes from inside this prison was a comedy movie called “Lets Go To Prison” I want to see this prison turned into a prison museum like Alcatraz Island. This prison is still owned by the State of Illinois and it’s starting to look in very bad shape, if they don’t do something about it soon this peace of Joliet’s history will be lost for ever.
