Sculptor Gary Ernest Smith describes his creative process at the “Noel Neill / Lois Lane Statue Dedication” on June 11, 2010 in Metropolis, Illinois. Noel Neill was born in Minneapolis on November 25, 1920. She is best remembered for her portrayal of newspaper reporter Lois Lane on television’s “The Adventures of Superman.” Ms. Neill was almost 90 years old when she was honored at this beautiful ceremony.
