Nice CN manifest train M335 cruising thru Centralia Illinois NB with a Maine Northern unit 3rd out!

From February 7th, 2024. Well it happened to me again out here at Centralia Illinois Amtrak station. Sad my buddy @scottn940 has to end up chickening out & missing out on the best motive power of all out here at Centralia Illinois most nights. Seems like I am the one getting more tallies today and at night out here than Scott is getting. Came out here on a late Wednesday night into Thursday morning for Amtrak 59 southbound to New Orleans from Chicago since it was running on time and guess what? This great video by me shows what I saw. Not long after they sent a Bnsf southbound loaded coal train out of here for the Paducah power plant, Canadian National Railway sent one of their long northbound manifest trains symboled the M335 thru here at 11:41 pm central time on main track 1 heading towards Homewood and Chicago with a very neat and to me brand new surprise locomotive that I’ve never seen before in my life. Lead unit is a Norfolk Southern dash 9 wide cab #9960, second unit is a Canadian National SD75I #5733, then its third unit turned out to be a huge but definitely new surprise to me, its a shiny brand new green and yellow striped “MAINE NORTHERN” SD70M-2 #6412 built by the electro motive division. Even had both the 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦 flags on the sides of the front nose. I was literally screaming inside after this train went by here. I wonder if i will ever get to see a Maine Northern locomotive like that again around here or anywhere else? Hope you all like this awesome video by me. Feel free to comment on it too you desire.
