• BALL SECURITY: The Longhorns posted 15 assists against just THREE turnovers in Thursday’s win against No. 7/7 Creighton. This marks the fewest turnovers in a single game by Texas since at least the start of the 1982-83 season and fewest since UT had four miscues against Kansas on March 16, 2008 in the Big 12 Tournament championship game.

• BACKCOURT DUO: Sophomore Tyrese Hunter leads the team in scoring (16.0 ppg) while hitting 54.4-percent (37-68) from the floor, including a 37-percent mark (10-27) from three-point range.
