Officials issue wind advisory warning of gusty conditions Saturday morning for parts of Illinois and Indiana – Chicago Tribune

National weather service officials issued a wind advisory Saturday morning cautioning of gusty winds capable of reaching up to 45 mph in portions of northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

The advisory is in effect until 9 a.m., and warns of possible falling tree limbs, unsecured blowing objects blowing and power outages in some areas.

The advisory also includes portions of central and east central Illinois.

Northwest winds were expected to be 20 to 30 mph with wind gust up to 45 mph.

Current temperatures were at 23 degrees at O’Hare International Airport with a high of 29 degrees expected. The forecast Saturday was sunny but blustery.
