PERFECT Self Filmed Bowhunt on ILLINOIS 9 POINT!

This week on Whitetail Edge we are following team member Dewaine Jones for his out of state hunt to Illinois.  We have said it before on Whitetail Edge, that we aren’t rich, we don’t do this for a full time living, and we are a group of guys that works really hard for what they have.  Dewaine is no different.  You can see in this episode how Dewaine is working like a dog just to pay his way to hunt Illinois.  I am super proud of Dewaine for that and for documenting his journey while he is working to show the dedication we all have to provide for this show.  Dewaine was carrying massive logs up hills just to pay for his tags and he finally made it out to Illinois to a farm he leased.  Dewaine and I had traveled to Illinois together earlier that summer to scout and put some trail cameras out so when Dewaine got there he already had a few bucks he was after.  It wasn’t long and he put himself right in the game!  His first morning he had an encounter with a great 9 point.  Unfortunately, that opportunity slipped through his fingertips but after a few adjustments with his Novix tree stands, Dewaine had a big buck in his lap!
