Created in collaboration with student filmmakers from the Department of Media and Cinema Studies, Red Ball features the 2021 BFA senior acting class during their final semester at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
All actors followed COVID-19 safety protocols for the duration of shooting, including twice weekly testing, mask wearing, and social distancing between takes on set, as per University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign guidelines. With continued negative results, actors were able to safely perform together.
