We drive north on I-55 beginning in Madison County, Illinois, parallel to Historic Route 66. We pass through the village of Livinston, and then enter Macoupin County. Then, we pass through the village of White city and enter Montgomery County. Finally, we pass through the city of Litchfield before concluding at mile 56.
