The Edith Farnsworth House, formerly the Farnsworth House, is a historical house designed and constructed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe between 1945 and 1951. This house was originally intended as a weekend getaway in it’s early beginnings in Plano, Illinois, southwest of Chicago’s downtown. Due to it’s unique architectural construction, it later became recognized as a National Historical Landmark to behold in ’06!
