On this episode of Deer Season 22, we are headed to the state of Illinois with Old Man Winter. The quest for the “Decoy Buck” started with an encounter he had in December 2020 over Joe Buck and Jane Doe. In the fall of 2021, “Decoy Buck” was all over our Reconyx cell cameras but we never could run into him. This year, he frequented one Reconyx cell camera on an inside corner going out to a large alfalfa field. After more than a dozen sits out of that particular blind, he finally read the script and put on the show of all shows before offering Terry a shot and the rest is history as they say. This deer field dressed 239.5 lbs, making it Terry’s largest-bodied and heaviest deer of his career! As always, thank you for the continued support, all of us at DOD greatly appreciate it!
