Illinois Cares Rx, a benefit program that helps seniors alleviate the financial burden of prescription drugs, was drastically cut. Champaign County Health Care Consumers’ Medicare Task Force holds a press conference to update the public on the situation, provide advice to seniors on how to prepare for these changes and offers ways for consumers to take action.
