University of Illinois at Chicago Massage Therapist Curt Schultz Charged with Sexually Abusing 2 Students

In October of 2018, a massage therapist at the University of Illinois at Chicago was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting two students during massages. Curt Schultz has been charged with criminal sexual abuse and aggravated battery.
According to police, the alleged sexual abuse involved inappropriate touching during massages. The school says that Schultz was employed in a temporary position in the campus Recreation Department.
One of the alleged victims, a 32-year-old male student, went to Schultz for an upper back massage. However, according to prosecutors, Schultz instead gave him a full-body massage and touched him inappropriately several times. The next day, the man filed a report with campus police.
A 25-year-old male student came forward with his own allegations after the university released a public safety alert regarding the first allegations. This man also accused Schultz of inappropriately touching him during a massage.
