Walking in Evanston Illinois/Chicago Suburb: Synagogue, Churches, Park, Fountains, Mid-June 2021

0

This video was shot when I was walking in Evanston, Illinois on two days in mid-June 2021, approximately before sunset. It turned out to be like a religious trip.

On one day, I passed Beth Emet the Free Synagogue, and the other day, Saint Mary Catholic Church and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. To me, the light around sunset and the serenity accentuated the holiness of the architecture.

White, pink and red roses were blooming in the Merrick Park, which was filled with relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. A small fountain enlivened a corner of the park. Birds were singing sweet songs.

On Elgin Road, near Northwestern University campus, another fountain was running. The splash is soothing, isn’t it?
