Wohl video celebrates quieter DC wins and previews potential effects of November elections on Congress

In today’s video, NAR Political Representative Patrick Wohl previews the upcoming mid-term elections on Nov. 8 and how the results might affect subsequent decisions by both chambers of Congress.

Wohl also cited several examples of lobbying that prevented Congress from negatively impacting REALTORS® or other stakeholders in the real estate industry. For example, NAR lobbied to:

protect 1031 like-kind exchanges and capital gains,
support the Safe Banking Act and its benefits for real estate transactions,
back housing providers and
reduce the FHA’s annual mortgage insurance premiums.
