Property taxes in Illinois, as most people already know, have completely skyrocketed. At least once a day someone asks me about them and what will happen in the market next year. I have a feeling that we’re heading into a shift in the Illinois market, specifically in Cook and Lake County. People really cannot afford their homes anymore.
