April 22, 2020 — With other states beginning to open their economies and ending the Stay at Home orders, the Governor is being asked increasingly to explain his standards for when to reopen various portions of the economy.
Yet over the previous 24 hours, Illinois had set a new record for the number of new CoronaVirus cases in one day, with 2049 new cases reported, and the governor predicting that the peak may not be reached until the middle of May – another four weeks out.
