President Obama's Speech on US Economy at Knox College in Illinois

Carney describes Obama’s speech Wednesday at Knox College as helping lay the foundation for the fall negotiations and said the remarks will be geared in part toward Congressional ears ahead of those. But the White House won’t change its core position opposing any cuts to pay for already-approved spending–a key Republican demand in past talks.
