A virtual conference was held Wednesday, January 27 to discuss the impacts of the Criminal Justice Reforms on Public Safety. This comes out of HB3653, which was approved and sent to Governor J.B. Pritzker’s desk on January 13. The bill passed in the Illinois Senate in the11th hour with a 32-23 vote.
